Bareboat Blue Moon

Set sail on a imported performance European built Beneteau 40. After a comprehensive briefing by one of our yacht charter managers, set sail yourself with your friends or family. You can cruise throughout Sydney Harbour past the Opera House and under the Harbour Bridge and past the Opera House all the way to Manly and the upper reaches of Middle Harbour. Anchor at the best bays for swimming and refreshments. 

Our Beneteau Yacht was launched in 2002 and has been well maintained. She features a targa / bimini for weather protection, enhanced water and battery capacity, new dacron sails, roller furler genoa, battened sun boom awning. 

There are three private cabins and 1 private bathroom aboard, a fully fitted galley with fridge and freezer, hot and cold pressured water and deck shower.

SKIPPERS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Skippers are required to have the following:

RYA Day Skipper or Yachtmaster.

ISSA Yacht Skipper.

US Sailing Yacht Skipper.

Prior charter experience overnight - similar yacht.

All skippers will be asked to conform to drink driving laws of 0.05% alcohol.

Skippers are not permitted to sail offshore or onto marinas without permission of the Operator.

Racing is not permitted without The Operator's approval (Bond is doubled if agreed).

BOND

Bond is paid by credit card or cash on arrival. The bond is returned after the boat is thoroughly checked for damage on deck, down below and diver has checked under the hull for damage sustained during your charter. Any damage discovered will trigger the bond to be banked in full until quotations for repairs and rectification are finalised.

Our yacht has a 2.4m draft. Skippers are reminded to carefully navigate to ensure that the keel does not hit the sea bed. Damage to the keel / hull join will likely result in a loss of the entire $3,000 bond.

Beneteau 40 has a capacity of 12 maximum persons.

9-12 hour bareboat $ 2,600 $ 3,000

2x12 hour bareboat $ 4,500 $ 3,000

3x12 hour bareboat $ 6,500 $ 3,000

BAREBOAT CLUB RACING FEES

Note boat is available with Category 7 safety equipment, certificate available.

Paperwork for racing registration is to completed by Charter

Duration Charter Fee Security Bond

8 hour bareboat $ 3,000 $ 6,000

50% percent of bareboat fee is payable on booking, 50% balance is payable 7 days prior to hire.

*Please call us to book 48 hour bareboat charters as online bookings are not available for 48 hours.

OPTIONS

Offshore transfer captain fee to sail in Pittwater as well as Sydney Harbour is $500 each way

Sterilised Sleeping bag, pillow, blankets & towel $30 per person

Plastic 2 man dinghy with oars $200 per day

2 bags of ice $10
